because, sounds can be disrupting.. it could be over saturating at times.. sometimes the absence of sound can be oversaturating thats when you can turn it on.
you can turn on or off sound or subtitle as you like... but in order to count as watched completely... it should be seen or watched in Normal... meaning no filters...
